It's a very nice office upgrade. The only thing I would have changed was the bookshelf arch. I would have made it so that the top shelf could be used for books or decorations. It still looks nice. I love the simple IKEA drawer front upgrade hack. I think I'm going to copy it for my office upgrade. Overall, you did a wonderful job with the paint color, accent wall, and design.

Besides every wonderful thing else in this video, the cord "treatment" is genius, & imaginative as I like to think I am, I don't believe I'd come up with that as a solution you know like if my life depended on it. I have turned down purchasing countless objects, not just lighting, because I HATED with a passion the dumb cord that hung down below it. Yes, I know I could paint the cord, & then later came cable "hiders" which were still visible etc. etc., but it just didn't feel worth the trouble. But _this_ is just plain Wow (with a cap) & now I can't wait to get started, lol & thank you very much!

Must be nice lol. My parents never taught me how to do anything. As an adult I’ve been on a journey learning how to cook, refinish and reupholster furniture, sew, garden, etc. It’s kind of amazing how little I actually learned from my parents.
